ROBLOX Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51 Wiki

"One of the most well-known killers, Slenderman possesses many supernatural powers, including teleportation, and is often found in forests. Slenderman wears what appears to be a tuxedo and has no facial features. Many tentacles appear to be emerging from his back to catch its victims."
Case File

Overview[]

Slenderman is a killer in Area 51. It spawns in Slenderman's Cage, a small room located in the Large Corridor in Classic Mode. Slenderman's Cage is directly opposite to the Main Corridor.

Slenderman has theme music playing at all times.

Slenderman's primary ability is its Tentacle Stretch ability. Upon activation, Slenderman's tentacles stop oscillating and snap forwards, dealing 250 damage to any enemies caught and playing a smack sound. This causes Slenderman to become immobile for about one second. Slenderman also deals 50 contact damage. This ability has a cooldown of TBA seconds.

Slenderman secondary ability is Teleport. This causes it to fade away, teleport behind its target's position at the time of beginning to teleport, and then reappear. Slenderman cannot teleport if it cannot see its target, or is out of range. Slenderman's teleport has a range of TBA studs, and a cooldown of TBA seconds.

Slenderman's tertiary ability is Stealth Mode, which significantly lowers the ambient theme and causes it to become ~50% invisible. This ability has no cooldown, being usable as soon as Slenderman becomes 50% transparent or fully visible.

Players killed by Slenderman are greeted with a loud, static sound and close-up jumpscare of its face. This does not appear in Endless Survival.

Appearance[]

Slenderman is a tall, tentacled humanoid. It lacks any facial features and has four(4) tentacles extending from its back, which constantly oscillate. It wears a tuxedo and black pants.

Tips[]

General[]

  • If Slenderman is chasing the player, they should try to hide behind something or simply run away and close a door or two behind them. If they are in a mode other than Killer Mode, another skill is to try to close a door as they walk past it and wait for it to attack another player.
  • Sometimes you can find the Alien Code in Slenderman's Cage. In the older version, the Alien Code always appeared in Slenderman's Cage and the number was always 81975.

Classic Mode[]

  • In Classic Mode, the player should avoid lingering too long after opening the cage, as Slenderman can teleport behind them and kill them without them knowing it is there.
  • If the player notices Slenderman fading away or disappearing, this means it is teleporting. The best way for them to avoid its attack is to move to the side and turn around. This will give them a clear shot of killing it.

Killer Mode[]

  • In Killer Mode, Slenderman's tentacles can clip through doors. This can be used to kill survivors on the other side, assuming they are close enough.
  • If the player is Slenderman, they can hide inside the elevator. Additionally, Slenderman's cloak ability allows the player to conceal themselves and most people will not expect them to be there. Your ability to teleport will also assist you in getting into the elevator.
  • The player should prioritize killing Slenderman, as its ability to teleport combined with its instant-kill damage will pose a huge threat to them.
  • Being able to hear its music in Juggernaut Mode is useful, as it can help locate a camper, or know where the Juggernaut is coming from.
  • You can kill Slenderman without opening the door by using Ray Gun or any weapon that has an explosive ability like Crossbow, M203, and the PAP M1911.
  • In Killer Mode, Slenderman can teleport underneath doors if they are open just enough. Spamming the door shut and then eventually opening it just enough to teleport through (and then closing it after you click to teleport) allows you to take survivors by surprise with ease, especially as they will most likely be focused on opening the door.
  • Don't allow Slenderman to teleport, as this can easily result in death if you are not aware of your surroundings. Use shotguns or fast-firing weapons to kill it quickly.

Endless Survival[]

  • Due to its Teleport and Instant-Kill abilities, Slenderman is a major threat in Endless Survival, especially without either reliable teammates or the Quick Revive perk.

Origin[]

Slenderman is originally from a 2009 post in the Something Awful forums. The post was a creepypasta photo with Slenderman in the background. Find it here.

Notes[]

The player may hear different music as they approach Slenderman.

Trivia[]

  • Slenderman may be the 'main antagonist', as it is held in a central location, is one of the most dangerous killers and is one of the first to be introduced to the game, and his head is used for the killer mode killer team icon.
    • Additionally, the code used to exclusively spawn within his cage, and thus he would be the sole guardian of the Area's most important secret.
  • In front of Slenderman's cage, there is a Noob that warns the players not to release Slenderman. The Noob says ''Do... not... open... this... door...''
  • There is a bug in Classic Mode where in Slenderman can possibly fall into one of the secret paths.
  • A former glitch in Test Servers is that if most players pile into the Slender cage, a "dummy" Slenderman will spawn, and the game will consider it "Dead." It is an easy way to crash the server, as massive lag spikes happen as the more slender dummies spawn. (Tested by Biggest_smalls and HTsnaps.)
  • In its old model, Slenderman did not have any tentacles at all. Its head also appeared to be vertically fixed, unlike its current model.
  • Slenderman is the first killer to have a jumpscare, the other being Tails Doll.
  • If the player wears a vest and a helmet and then has the Survivor Pack then the player can have a higher chance of surviving Slenderman's Tentacle, see video here.
  • As confirmed in case files, Slenderman is Granny's son-in-law.
  • He is one of the 7 killers to be based on creepypastas. The others are Eyeless Jack, Jeff the Killer, The Rake, Smile Dog, Sonic.exe, and Tails Doll.
